Measure M will provide funding to Jefferson Union High School District to ensure the best educational outcomes for our students.
Measure M seeks to replace an a expiring measure (Measure Y), which if not replaced would greatly impact district funds.
Funds from Measure M will be used for:
-
Providing financial support to academic programs for JUHSD students.
-
Expanding and enhancing career training and college readiness classes.
-
Attracting and retain high quality teachers, staff, and councilors.
Should Measure M not pass, the previous parcel tax (Measure Y) will expire, significantly decreasing funding to JUHSD.

By law, all money raised would go towards the items listed above. That is - all funding goes towards students and staff.
Measure M is funded through parcel (property) taxes. Adults 65 and older can get a permanent exemption from the parcel tax.
There will be public disclosure of how all Measure M funds were used.
All expenses will also be reviewed by an independant Citizen's Oversight Committee.
